Kerrie Ford PhD
Value Communication Principal
Kerrie has over 15 years’ experience in scientific and medical writing in market access consultancy and in academia, with expertise in health technology assessment submissions, value communications materials, advisory boards, journal publications and conference proceedings.
As a medical writer, Kerrie has experience in the cardio-renal-metabolic, oncology, immunology and rare disease spaces, establishing and communicating unmet need and value of assets from early value stories through reimbursement submissions and into launch and post-launch strategy. Her approach centres on developing trusted partnerships with clients, and she has successfully led portfolios of work by combining deep insight into the therapeutic area with an overarching strategic focus. She has supported clients with a range of project requirements, including chairing advisory boards and representing manufacturers at HTA committee meetings.
Prior to working in consultancy, Kerrie completed her PhD at the University of Cambridge, followed by postdoctoral research at the Universities of Oxford and Bristol. She specialised in cardiovascular physiology and diabetes research, presenting her research at conferences and co-authoring a number of peer reviewed publications, including in Circulation, Nature Cardiovascular Research, and Cardiovascular Research.
