We optimised a cost-effectiveness model that initially lacked resonance and failed to demonstrate cost-effectiveness.
Value communication
Developing and communicating a compelling, evidence-based value proposition is a cornerstone of successful market access and reimbursement.
We combine our deep understanding of payer evidence requirements with our communications expertise to develop materials that demonstrate value to payers, clinicians and decision-makers. Our value communication team works closely with colleagues across functions to optimise both clinical and economic value messaging.
Early value stories and evidence generation plans
Thinking about payers’ value perceptions and evidence requirements at an early stage is important to help guide the design of trials and other evidence generation projects. This helps avoid the common situation in which opportunities to generate the data payers want have been missed. Our team can:
- map out early aspirational payer value stories and identify evidence gaps
- advise on evidence generation options - and in many cases undertake the relevant activities (e.g. literature reviews, real-world evidence analysis, additional analyses of existing data)
- use early economic modelling to determine the principal value drivers and guide decisions on which evidence generation options to prioritise for investment
Global value dossiers
The global value dossier (GVD) is a strategically focused document bringing together the evidence supporting the product’s value story. Our deep understanding of HTA – including our experience as submission writers - ensures that our GVDs meet the needs of end-users. Our GVDs tell a clear, concise value story and are focused on the information users need in order to optimise their HTA submissions and other payer communications.
HTA submissions
Our value communication team are expert in developing compelling and well-managed submission dossiers – see Health Technology Assessment for details.
Publications
We develop a wide range of technical and non-technical publications, including economic and statistical analyses, studies and systematic reviews. We also research and write manuscripts based on targeted literature reviews for themes such as burden of illness.
